Ingrid is focused on providing creative, custom imagery to small businesses in the travel, service, and retail industries. A background in literature, and years documenting weddings and families has given her a well rounded expertise appropriate for anecdotal storytelling. With a purposeful dedication to simplicity and truth, she reveals the beauty in our daily lives through various photographic disciplines. This multi-varied approach in collaboration with her clients result in images that convey layered meanings within the parameters of clean, classic, still photography.
MISSION
My mission is to slow down, foster a familial relationship and to create an archive of life moments for my clients. There is an importance and beauty to the work we do in this world, to the things we make, to the community we serve; and my goal is to record those moments without artifice or contrivance. I still believe in the magic of photography as a tool for truth and record keeping, as a tool for expression. The camera feels more natural to me than, say, a pen, or a ball of clay, or my voice. I can appreciate well arranged words, a perfect teapot, or a sappy love song , but I perceive and communicate best through a lens.
